Monthly Feminist Shamanic Drumming & Counsciousness Raising Circle Meets the third Sunday of every month from 1-5 pm. There is no charge but donations to the Center in any amount are welcomed and greatly appreciated. Pre-registration is required. Thanks for your patience!The Circle begins with a formal smudge ceremony. You learn the etiquette and appropriate uses of feminist shamanic drumming, how to care for and create "right relationship" with your drum, how to "catch" shamanic healing, animal spirit and power songs, and how to become a fully contributing member of a feminist shamanic drumming group. After a snack break, we engage in meditation on the Feminist Shamanic Medicine Wheel Mandala and special shamanic movements for gathering, holding and expending shamanic energy. Your learn a special feminist shamanic journey method and engage in group journeys to receive teachings for the group about raising our level of shamanic consciousness and how to express that consciousness in our daily lives.
